2nd Professional Year

In the 2nd Professional year, students take a combination of compulsory subjects and electives.  Usually, each 2nd Professional course is a prerequisite to the follow-on 3rd Professional year course.  It is at this stage that students begin to tailor their skills towards the areas that interest them most.

Other Professional Requirements

• Direct entry 2nd pro students are also required to undertake the Academic Writing Assessment Test (AWAT).  English language requirement
